C.R.O.S.S. Race Night at Leopardstown Racecourse

The C.R.O.S.S. charity race night was held on June 30th in the Upper Pavillion at Leopardstown racecourse. The event was sponsored by Labplan, Roche, Nineyards and Caliper Life Sciences. The evening was a fantastic success raising over 21,500 euro for the charity through ticket sales, table prizes and a charity auction on the night. A champagne reception and string quartet greeted guests, followed by a full evenings race program with 4 course meal. Renowned trainer Jessica Harrington provided race tips and the C.R.O.S.S. Charity Handicap was the 6th race on the program and was won by 20:1 outsider 'Global Recovery'. Lets hope thats a prediction for the future! The winners cup was presented by Irish International rugby star, Malcolm O'Kelly. Entertainment was provided by Cathy Davey and band, and westend star Peter Corry. Best dressed male and female on the night were awarded to Neil Jordan and Niamh Lynam-Lennon.
